The PlusRPG (Pathfinder Library Updated System Roleplaying Game) is a project to improve upon Paizo Publishing's Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. After over eight years of using the Pathfinder RPG (including alpha and beta versions), every player and GM probably has found that there are still problematic areas in the rules. This project will attempt to fix some, but certainly not all of these problems as they present themselves to the author. It also strives to be compatible with the Pathfinder RPG, so this will be no major "2nd Edition" overhaul.

While the Pathfinder RPG is a great set of rules for role-playing, in many cases, its creators failed to clarify obscure or ambiguous language in the original SRD documents, from which much of the Pathfinder RPG rule text was copied, oftentimes not even correctly amended to fit with rule changes made from the SRD to the Pathfinder RPG. In other cases, the new game introduced more such problems. This project will try to eliminate points of contention that are caused by unclear or bad wording and clear up any problematic text passages.

The Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook unfortunately has many rules that are distributed over different places in the book, and on occasion a player must look up several rule passages spread about the book even for a single rule question. This project will try to eliminate the need for excessive page turning by consolidating everything needed for a rule on one wiki page where possible.

This wiki — while still a work in progress — will contain the full rule text copied as needed from Paizo Publishing's Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Reference Document adapted with the changes made for the PlusRPG, or from other open gaming content created by third-party companies. Changes made to the original rules will be elaborated upon on the appropriate wiki pages or their talk pages.
