Weapon Finesse
Your dashing style and fluid weapon forms allow you to use agility rather than brute force to fell your foes. Choose one type of light or one-handed finesse melee weapon from a weapon group for which you have already selected the Weapon Focus feat.
Type: Combat
Prerequisites: Dex 13, proficiency with selected weapon, Weapon Focus with the selected weapon’s weapon group
Benefit: When wielding your selected weapon one-handed, you can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage. If you have a Strength penalty, you must apply both your Strength penalty and your Dexterity modifier. If any effect would prevent you from adding your Strength modifier to the damage roll, you do not add you Dexterity modifier. Additionally, you can treat the selected weapon as a one-handed finesse weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a swashbuckler's or a duelist's precise strike). The weapon must be one appropriate for your size.
You cannot make power attacks when using this feat.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new type of weapon.
This is a new feat:
- now grants Dex instead of Str to damage (instead to to attack roll)
- replaces Fencing Grace, Slashing Grace and Starry Grace feats
- removed Power Attack prerequisite of some of these feats
